In both observation and personal experience, I\u2019ve noticed a tendency: We trade forward motion for comfort, not out of laziness but out of quiet sabotage\u2014a resistance to imperfect action.<\/p>\n
We wait.<\/p>\n
We wait for the perfect hour of silence to write instead of scribbling down a paragraph in the chaos.<\/p>\n
We wait for sunny skies to ride the motorcycle rather than enjoying the road under overcast clouds.<\/p>\n
We wait for energy, inspiration, motivation\u2014whatever we believe will unlock our ideal conditions.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, we scroll.<\/p>\n
We stall.<\/p>\n
We sabotage.<\/p>\n
This isn’t just procrastination. It\u2019s a crisis of perfection. A belief that forward motion must be flawless or not at all.<\/p>\n
But progress doesn\u2019t wait for perfection. It rewards the ones who show up consistently\u2014even clumsily.<\/p>\n
Write the paragraph.<\/p>\n
Ride in the drizzle.<\/p>\n
Read the page.<\/p>\n
Start where you are, with what you have, and move forward\u2014imperfectly but intentionally.<\/p>\n
Because the people who make progress don\u2019t wait for perfection. They choose motion.<\/p>\n
